Ohab Tochukwu Bernard Johnbosco, better known as TBJ, was born and raised in a small town in Nigeria. Growing up, he always loved to scribble with his siblings. Becoming a visual artist started out as fun (which hasn’t changed to date), then it turned into a passion. TBJ is still evolving as an artist.
His art is inspired by Love, People, and Culture. TBJ believes that at least 90% of African visual artists nowadays have stories about how they were criticized, discouraged, and scorned on becoming an artist, and this is something that incites fear in upcoming creative heads.
He hopes that his art inspires as many people [artists/non-artists] as possible to keep doing you freely, and never let the negative energy get to you. “If you love it, try to discover your strength and make magic happen.” Through his works, he always tries to emphasize the importance of ‘self love’. He can be found on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
