Erin Spencer has spent the last decade documenting landscapes and seascapes from around the country, all the way from California to here in New England. Her work is also greatly influenced by the landscape of Holland, with its open skies and vistas, where she spent time in her early twenties. The pursuit of the stories told by the color and light of clouds and land keep her pressing forward creating new work all the time. Currently she is working on a project that will take her to Europe and across America to document the landscapes of her ancestors. She hopes to discover something of the places that shaped their lives. Erin has been exhibiting in New England since 2008, and her paintings are included in private collections around the world including across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. She resides in Bristol, Rhode Island with her husband and three children. Check out her website and follow her on Instagram.
