David Sabol

moon-teeth scabbed over like

rotten orange rind in summer smile

duct-tape scab

suddenly torn

from the teeth

in the noire sky

again again

I lie in rusty puddles, under

mouth gaping, tongue out

I catch

the ruby

David Sabol was born in San Diego, and flipped pages to kill his thumbprints in Ronkonkoma, NY. Now, he’s studying English Literature at SUNY Geneseo.
